Chukamen Korean bbq

Good food, very good service. We were new to the restaurant, and they explained everything perfectly (buffet, but you have to order both prepared dishes and grilled ones to cook at the table). Everything was very good, with spicy dishes but not too spicy. Highly recommended for a break from the usual. The portions are small, but that helps you try more. Note that drinks and dessert are not included in the buffet. Good value for money.

The service is incredible. The waiters are always attentive to keeping the BBQ warm, changing cooking hats, and the orders are super fast. They advise and help you with anything they need, and they're always on hand to make sure you have the sauces... The products they use are quality, the atmosphere is authentic Korean... there's a great menu of drinks directly imported from there. I brought a few with me. An experience that's not far removed from being in any ordinary restaurant in Seoul. Banchan dishes, street food dishes, and of course, thousands of different cuts of meat, vegetables, and seafood to make Ssam. The Tteokbokki was a great surprise; it was to die for. Next up, I had to try the bibimbap. On top of that, since it's a buffet, you leave very full, and it's super affordable. The price went up a bit for us because I was ordering drinks like crazy to take home. Otherwise, it's dirt cheap, especially considering the excellent quality. I can't wait to go back!!

A very good Korean BBQ experience. The waiters were very nice, as was the guy at the entrance. The food was delicious, and the experience was very pleasant. Yes. I'd definitely come back.

We went last night, and it's a really cool experience. It's a buffet. They have both hot prepared dishes and raw dishes that you make yourself on the grill, but everything is super well explained. They're super attentive when it comes to changing the foil on top of the grill, or turning the grill up or down. They explain everything very well. The lettuce you usually see in the photos is because in Korea, they usually cook the meat, put it in a sauce, and then roll it in the lettuce. We're not big fans of lettuce as is, but rolled in the meat with its sauce in the shape of a burrito, it's delicious! You order on a tablet, a maximum of 10 dishes (drinks don't count as part of the order and are paid for separately, as are two sauces, the peanut sauce and the spicy sauce, which are €1 each). They have sake, which we understand is a fairly typical Korean drink, and costs €10 a bottle. The quality, food, and service are all 10/10. There are dishes you may like more or less, but overall everything is very good. Our recommended dishes: marinated shrimp, Angus, lettuce wraps, dumplings, and gyozas.

We recently visited Chukamen Korean BBQ for the first time and absolutely loved it. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, the atmosphere is great, and the room is nice, clean, and bright. The food quality was excellent and tasted truly delicious—to die for! Table service was quick, and the BBQ itself was fast and smoke-free. It was a great experience, and we'll be back soon. Two adults and one child eat for €63, including drinks. Come visit us soon. 😉👍

Very tasty, a great find. It's a bit hot in the summer, but that's normal with the grill in front of you. Delicious and very varied.

As a fan of Korean culture, I decided to go as soon as I heard they had opened this place. I really appreciate this type of place, because there are very few of them in Asturias. First, make a reservation before going. They have a varied menu that includes meat, seafood, rice, vegetables, etc., and barbecue. They have an individual buffet menu (not shared or takeaway), and the Infinity menu runs from 17.95 to 23.95, excluding desserts and drinks. If you're a group of more than 6 people, you'll have to sit at separate tables (options for 2, 4, and up to 6 at slightly larger tables). As soon as you sit down, you'll find the typical golden Korean tableware, with a saucer, cup, Korean spoon, and chopsticks (there's also a spoon, knife, and fork) placed around the barbecue (which is covered with baking paper to prevent staining, and which you handle yourself). A tray with three sauces is provided beforehand: peanut, spiced oil, and samgyeopsal, which is typical for barbecues and slightly spicy but tolerable. All dishes are explained, including whether or not they are spicy, including information about possible allergies. If you're going to eat Korean barbecue, I recommend ordering kimchi, which isn't spicy at all; Rice (they serve it on a plate with sesame seeds, and in my opinion it would be better to serve it in small casseroles with lids so it doesn't lose its temperature) and lettuce (it comes in a bowl): enough for 2. On a leaf, put a little bit of rice, grilled meat/fish/chicken, samgyeopsal sauce, kimchi, or whatever order you like, wrap it up, and in one bite! Delicious! This is very filling. I would recommend the pork belly and beef in any of their varieties, and order little by little, as it's quite filling. And if you don't have to drive, the soju and beer mix (somek) goes great with the barbecue. And finally, the staff is very, very friendly and attentive, and they know how to recommend things. I hope to return very soon.

The service couldn't have been better. Everyone was very friendly. It was our first time there, and they were kind enough to take the time to explain the menu and how it worked. Then the food is delicious and fun to make. They also have some vegetables, mushrooms, and a few hot dishes in case you're vegetarian. It's true there isn't much variety, but there are options. They also take care to change the paper if the vegetarian doesn't want to cook in the same one they used to make the meat. Highly recommended :)

From the service, through the location, and ending with what brought us there, the food... A great experience, a little outside the classic that they have in all the Asian food buffets, with dishes like the "typical" Sao mai, but these are seafood (delicious, and with the sauces they put on it, even more so!), stone-cooked beef rice (a spicy but bearable dish, I will repeat), rice with egg and pork oil (very tasty, worth repeating too), Korean-style fried chicken, the Chinese bread is a delight because they serve it with a drizzle of icing sugar and bufff, finger-licking good... The part about being able to make things on the grill to your liking and period is also a plus, we ordered vegetables and also meats, and they were great. It's true that it takes a while until the barbecue is in tune, but then it's just a matter of putting things to work. I won't go into more detail because we ate and tried so much, haha, and we still have more to try 🫠. I encourage anyone who wants to get away from the Asian buffet routine to try Chukamen BBQ. I'm leaving the review open to changes, in case there's anything worth highlighting, edit it, and add it below.

We went to eat here and were pleasantly surprised, not so much by the food, which was delicious, but by the staff's treatment. It's hard to find places where you're treated in such a friendly and welcoming manner. I'd especially like to highlight a brunette with glasses who greeted us at the entrance. She explains everything incredibly well and always serves you with a smile. The rest of the staff are just as attentive, always attentive to your needs. Honestly, it's a pleasure when they treat you well and don't make you feel like you have to apologize for being human and wanting to eat. Definitely a highly recommended place. 🫶🏻
